As a Southwest Florida resident, I’m drawn to pictures of people, Florida wildlife, scenic landscapes, and the beauty and mood of this sub-tropical paradise. I like to create pictures that have emotion and tell a story. Since light is such a critical element in photography, many of the landscape scenes are taken near sunrise or sunset when the light has a soft, golden quality.

My work has been published in local and national magazines, and I have been recognized as an award winning photographer. My pictures have won numerous awards in local art shows, including “Best-of-Show” at an "all-media" juried art show at the Center for the Arts in Bonita Springs, Florida.

I am a commercial photographer, but my specialty is fine art photography and creative commercial photos. I work with digital equipment exclusively, to produce state-of-the-art digital photos that can be framed and hung as a fine art display or purchased as rights-managed photos and incorporated into an advertising campaign, used in printed media, or in a web site design of your choice. In addition to photography, I also provide creative web design and web hosting services, working with you one-on-one to develop a web site that fits your needs and meets your financial and personal objectives. Once the web site is completed, I will publish the site on the internet and, at your option, employ search engine optimization (SEO) for better search engine recognition. This insures that your web site will be noticed and visited by the maximum number of people.

My wife and I spend 7 months in our winter home in SW Florida and 5 summer months in Minnesota on our floating home, The Buccaneer, a Carver Aft Cabin Cruiser. Living on a boat provides many opportunities to create fine art photos depicting "life on the water".
