Tom Reussé Biography
Tom Reussé is a retired business owner. He was involved in insurance and finance. When not working, he was an avid downhill skier, scuba diver, hot air balloon pilot, motorcyclist and photographer.
Tom and his wife, Heather, have traveled extensively, visiting over 60 countries and all but one continent. Their travels have enabled Tom to capture photographic images from around the world.
Back home in Bonita Springs his photographic skills are directed toward fine art photography, such as pictures of wildlife, scenic landscapes, people and the pulse of Florida living. He has visited many wildlife areas photographing Florida’s plentiful shore bird population. In addition to picture taking, Tom has made a number of educational presentations to photography club members.
Tom’s love of motorcycles and unusual automobiles has led to a unique photographic style he calls TechnoFusion, merging photography and digital skills to transform motorcycle and automobile photos into an art form. A few examples of TechnoFusion photos are included in this web site.
As a result of his affiliation with the Center for the Arts in Bonita Springs, FL Tom has developed web sites for a number of artists who are members of the art league, as well as artists throughout southwest Florida.
Publications, Exhibits & Awards
Tom’s photos have been published many times in local and national magazines. His skills as an award winning photographer have helped him win a number of awards in Florida Juried Art Shows, including “Best of Show” at the Bonita Springs, FL Center for the Arts, the first time a photograph has ever won “Best of Show” at any juried show at the Center.
Over the years Tom’s photographic images have been exhibited in One-man shows, studio galleries, and art shows both in Minnesota and Florida.
